ABX Innovation Pavilion
After going by BuildBoston for many years, the annual Boston Society of Architects tradeshow and conference was rebranded as the ArchitectureBoston Expo, or ABX, in 2012 and moved to a new home at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center in the heart of the Innovation District. As one of the largest events for the design and construction industry in the country, and the largest regional conference and tradeshow, the event draws thousands of attendees, eager to learn and exchange ideas. To heighten the impact of ABX’s new image, the BSA asked Analogue Studio to rethink both the Innovation Pavilion, a showcase of new and emerging products; and the Lounge, a respite from the energy of the conferences and tradeshow floor. For the Innovation Pavilion, Analogue Studio developed a partnership with Mio to utilize their temporary wall structures to create a high-impact, low-cost, quick-assembly installation.
