A new home for Heartbreakers and heart rates
As a guild of innovators, one of Analogue Studio’s favorite things is to help fellow entrepreneurs find their stride. Founded in 2009 by two former captains of the Boston College track and field team, Heartbreak Hill Running Company has quickly become known for its friendly approach to coaching, shoe fittings, and gear sales. When preparing to open a new location in Cambridge, Heartbreak Hill’s founders reached out to Analogue Studio to help them strengthen their retail presence and design their first on-site running studio. Working with a small budget and the founders’ favorite streetwear brand (Kith) as an inspiration, Analogue Studio designed a space that is utilitarian for visitors, staff members, and coaches, but that also inspires a sense of urban grit and energy through its graphics, hardware, and finishes.
